Who we are
The two Ms.
A mate asked us to build him a WordPress site. We said no. Not because we couldn't — we'd been building WordPress sites for years. But because we were done.
Done with the plugin chaos, the security warnings, the themes that broke on update day, the clients who needed a developer just to change their opening hours. Done with handing people a website and secretly knowing it was a ticking bomb that would go off one day.
So instead of saying yes, we went down a rabbit hole. Hundreds of hours and many caffeinated drinks later, MXM Studio was born.
Michelle is the jaded (ex) WordPress developer who was about to throw it all away because she couldn't do ONE MORE WORDPRESS SITE. Twenty years of dealing with all that was enough. Michael is the senior developer who said “we can do this” — and backs that up by being the person you want in your corner when things get serious. He's spent years working at enterprise level, which means the infrastructure behind your small business website is looked after by someone who usually deals with problems considerably larger than yours.
